D-5

Just 5 days left till I leave for college :( I'm so not ready for this. It's not that I'm not excited for it, I do. I've been waiting for this day to come since forever but a part of me feels like it's too soon. Of course I have rested enough but maybe I just needed a tiny bit more time to properly enjoy life before I get all busy with college. I was hoping I get to go on a vacation with my family but unfortunately, we didn't but that isn't something I should dwell on about because it's pretty understandable that my dad has been busy with his work and stuff. The only vacation that I've been to this year was when I went to Penang with a few of my best friends but that was like 10 months ago lol. Excuses, excuses, excuses. Maybe I'm just being a baby :( I honestly do not like the idea of living in a dorm that is two hours away from home and the fact that I'm gonna live there for another three years is just gruesome. Now I sound like a spoil

Remember the masscomm interview I had about a month ago or so? Well the result was supposed to be out about a week ago but it was postponed (because of an unsaid reason) to last Monday. Only God knows how terribly nervous I was before the result day! And when the day finally came, I, who was feeling both excited and anxious, suddenly felt like bursting into tears. I honestly don't know where I mustered the confidence from but I was pretty convinced that I would get a positive result. It's like some sort of a hunch or something, idk. But what made me feel like bawling my eyes out is because I thought I was too confident and if the result turn out to be a disappointment, my heart would crush into pieces and I don't think I would ever want to feel that way. ANYWAY, once the result could be checked, firstly, I said my prayers, and then I proceeded by typing my IC number and without much hesitation I clicked "semak (check)", and here's my result... Yeap,

Bigbang Alive Tour MY

Image
To say BigBang Alive Tour concert in Malaysia was the best concert of 2012 would be an overstatement but it was honestly one the best concerts I've ever been to thus far. Normally, one would be excited before going to a concert but in my case, I wasn't honestly too eager about it, maybe just a slight excitement but I kept myself neutral most of the time. But when I knew there were five men standing behind the curtain and the song "Tonight" could be heard through the speakers, that was when I knew it was going to be one hell of an incredible night. Ahh the effect it has on me.. it's indescribable, really, and I don't really have much to say so I'll just end this post with some pictures I took before and during the concert. Also I'll add in some caption below the pictures to tell you what was happening hehe. It was about 9 in the morning when we arrived and I honestly WASN'T surprised at the fact there were already a few hardcore fans qu

Krystal Jung

This is going to be a reaaaaalllllllyyyyyy random post but I'll just post it anyway because I have nothing else to post about and because I just recently developed a new skill (but not so skillful enough), I thought I should share some of the gifs I made for Krystal's birthday. Believe it or not, it took me roughly about three hours to make these. It does seem easy but from downloading the videos to cutting it into frames to downloading PSDs, textures, brushes, etc, it does consume a lot of time and energy, and even patience too. I did this out of boredom but I'm happy with the outcome :D :D :D These gifs were made to post on tumblr (click!) because if you have ever been on tumblr, you'll know that most people (I only know people from the kpop fandom) would edit photos of their idols for their birthday :) Btw this girl is finally 18 and the fact that I'm older than her by a few months is crazy. Born and raised in the States and have an older sister named J

Fight to the finish

Good evening! I've been slightly worked up with photography these days and I'm not sure where I got the "energy" from but I guess it was around the time when I made a facebook page . At the moment, I'm slowly going through my pictures in my camera and I'm not sure why I never bothered uploading them.. But fret not, I'm trying to upload them one by one! :) I've uploaded a few on my facebook page so please check it out! Here are a few pictures I took during Sports Day organized by my school last year. And not to forget my personal favourite! Oh and I just remembered that these were taken on my birthday! No wonder they came out nice. I was in a good mood :P

Run for you I wake up

Image
It was during the fasting month when I visited Cameron Highlands and it wasn't really a good idea but I had fun. Though I couldn't eat the strawberries which I've always longed for :( I have more pictures from this trip but I'll upload them later (or maybe not, depends on my mood :p) so until then :) Oh and btw, like me on facebook page :D

Leisure

Image
These are the things I enjoy doing during my "me" time :) Surfing the net, listening to iPod, and reading Photography magazines, just mmm :) What do you do during your leisure time?

15th September

So yesterday was the day I went for the interview for diploma in mass communication. I didn't sleep the whole day, not because I stayed up to get prepared for the interview, but it was because I'm already so used to sleeping late hence I didn't sleep. I did however sleep for about 15 minutes and I felt so tired after I woke up and I regretted a lot for not changing my sleeping pattern sigh. When I arrived at the faculty, we all had to wait before the registration. I knew no one and I felt like a loner :( After the registration we were brought to the hall for the written exam. I sat with this one girl because she seemed nice unlike the other girls lol. Talked with her for a bit and when she was googling about masscomm on her phone, I saw her wallpaper and I was like, "Is that Lee Min Ho?" and she was like "Yeah" and then she showed me another picture. I didn't notice who was it at first until I looked closely I was like, "OMG YESUNG!!!!!!"

The Moon that Embraces the Sun

Image
The title has nothing to do with this post so ignore it lol. Unless you're a Korean drama lover, then I would suggest you to watch this historical drama (The Moon that Embraces the Sun) starring Kim Soo Hyun (one of my favourite actors!), and Han Ga In. Hello there, it has been a while since I last posted pictures on my blog and I kinda feel bad about it because I sort of promised myself to take more pictures this year (and to improve my photography skills as well) but as a result, I couldn't keep the promise. What a let down! Not enough with that, I even thought of upgrading my camera. Tsk tsk. However, I am considering on buying a new lens or a speedlite because I feel kinda inspired at the moment. Also, I would like to improve on my food photography skills because I can never seem to find a right angle whenever I decide to take pictures of it. You could say that food photography is one of my biggest enemies at the moment. Challenging, indeed! By the way, picture ab

Flip out

I'm so happy to say that the wait is finally over (but still more to come) because I've just been called by UiTM for an interview (diploma in masscomm) this Saturday! Alhamdulillah. Judging by my shitty result, I didn't expect to be called at all but I guess Allah heard my prayers and it was my last pinch of hope of getting accepted into a University. The only thing I have to worry now is the interview and only God knows how nervous I am right now. I googled for some helpful tips regarding this interview but I found literally nothing. However, I did find out about what to expect during the interview and the most frequently asked questions are mostly about politics. God knows how much I hated that topic. I happened to come across this one blog while I was googling and what the interviewer asked him was, "What is the relationship between YAB Dato' Sri Haji Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak and Dato' Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein?", I almost peed in my p

"I love you" has 8 letters and so does "internet"

Image
Greetings earthlings! I haven't been posting for quite a while because my internet line got barred and I actually survived a month without it and it was horrible and excruciating I thought I was going to die of boredom (I'm not exaggerating!) because no internet means I don't know what's happening in Korea and I was sad because I felt outdated OTL I know most of us would probably suffocate even if there was no internet for an hour let alone a day/week/month/year haha. Maybe I should consider writing a book on how to survive without internet. On a different note, guess who went to MTV Worldstage? It was fantastic (minus the crowd). Jay Park and Kara were astounding and I actually enjoyed every second of it. The best part of the concert was probably when they were playing music videos on the screen but was kinda disappointed 'cause they didn't play that much kpop MVs but anyway me, Farah, Farahin and other kpop fans went cray whenever a kpop mv pops up on the

Heartless, Mindless

Two weeks ago I ordered Exo-K's MAMA album through kpoptownmalaysia and waiting for the album to arrive in my hands was a pain in the ass I tell you but it was worth the wait and money :-) Thank God Ayah came back right on time cause apparently the postman was ringing the doorbell but I didn't hear anything as I was upstairs listening to some music. When ayah called out my name, I heard he mentioned "CD" but I didn't expect it to be the album that I've been waiting for cause I thought Ayah took out my Paramore's Brand New Eyes CD out of his car haha and I was smiling like some kind of an idiot when I saw the album (it was still wrapped though). As I was running towards my room I thought I got the wrong parcel cause the album is surprisingly thin and I thought I've been cheated lol but I put all of those thoughts aside and quickly unwrapped the packaging mercilessly hahahahahaha seriously though it was so hard to unwrap it :| Anyway thank

So do we try to make this work, or do we part ways?

I used to take pictures a lot and I questioned myself, "what happened to me?". Seriously. I think my photography skills just went down the drain. Not trying to boast about it or whatever but it's the truth. I don't know how to take a proper picture anymore and I've been so uninspired lately. I'd dare to say that I haven't touched my camera for about a month or so, let alone using my fisheye 2 lomo camera. What a bummer. Also the fact that I LOVE kpop excessively is probably the result of my lack of inspiration since kpop doesn't really involve photography and stuff haha. Not blaming on kpop though cause I loveeee them. They are my source of happiness (ew all you want) and I'll never run out of things to watch. On a different note, lately I've been listening to Aziatix. Stumbled upon them a few days ago as I was watching a video of Exo's band profile (don't judge! I was trying to study them) and the uploader apparently used one of Azia

I swallowed all the tears inside my heart, just to smile

Greetings, earthlings! Miss me, no? :) I haven't been able to blog for the past few weeks because, 1) I'm lazy, 2) I was too busy fangirling on Korean boys hahahahaha. Well to be honest, I do have a few things to post and that too include pictures from my brother's wedding which was like.. three weeks ago? Damn that was long ago. I've already edited a few pictures and I could've uploaded it on my blog right away but well there's just a lot of things to do like uploading it on Photobucket (because blogspot's picture uploader sucks haha) and then I have to resize it so that it wouldn't be too big or too small for my blog, etc. So yeah, I'm lazy like that haha. As you all know, two weeks ago I received my spm result slip and to be honest, it was an utter disappointment but I still feel contented though cause I thought I would get much more worse than that which thank God, I didn't. Alhamdulillah. Also I've already decided on what course th

Juvenile

After two months of not blogging I'm finally here trying to state the reasons of my disappearance. First of all, I did mention that I have work and ever since I started to work I find it hard to find a time to actually post a proper blog and this leads to putting a halt to my 52 weeks project. It's a shame really when I thought I could make time for it but sadly I didn't. But now that I've quit my job I guess I'm gonna continue with the project and never let it die - unless something happens. Now let's talk about the place I used to work at. Getting to know a few new people was great but I had a lot of pressure working with the sales assistant and the manager. They expected everything to be perfect and there's just too much rules that I couldn't bide and I feel a lot of pressure because of it. First, I couldn't chat with my colleagues even though there's no customer around unless if you have done all of your work which consist ironing, cutting

Week 2 of 52

Image
Went to Penang the other day with Izyan, Bianca, Jee, and Chanel :) It was fun and amazing. I'll update more about it later .

Week 1 of 52

Image
So I've decided to start this 52 weeks project in which I would upload a picture every week for the whole year starting today :-) I did this project two years back on flickr ( click here ) but I stopped because of some reason and this time, I'm gonna do this project on Blogspot instead because I don't get that much recognition on flickr :( Anyway, I hope this time I wouldn't give up despite being busy with work. Oh and did I mention that I got a new job? Yeah :-)

Mo. A live in Malaysia

Image
Remember about two months back I blogged about Super Junior coming to Malaysia and that I've bought the ticket? Yeah. So a month ago which was on 3rd of December, I went to Mo.A live held at MBPJ stadium, Kelana Jaya. I was quite over the moon about seeing them since it was my first time ever considering that all these while I've never been so thrilled of going to a concert. Plus, hello it's Super Junior that we're talking about unless you're not a big fan of them nor a big fan of kpop. So anyway, I had a lot of things going on in my mind before the concert was held and I was kind of in a dilemma of whether to bring along my camera or not. Because first, if I were to bring my camera, I'd be able to capture the awesome thing that happened on that day and I too would be able to take their pictures and keep them as a memory (considering that they're foreigners and foreign artists don't come often). But then I had a second thought. I thought it'll be
