Ammelia Hamzah

It was Ayah's birthday yesterday and to commemorate it, we decided to have something nice for lunch. Happy birthday to my hero and I feel sorry for him to have to put up with my shit for most of the time. I admit, I'm not the best daughter out there as there would be days where I would abruptly get mad at him and not knowing how to say sorry after. I honestly do not know if things would be different if Mimi was still alive. I miss her, he misses her, everyone misses her and we just secretly wish that she was still here, with us, braving through this tough and cruel world but a part of me feels like her absence is for the better. I wouldn't want her to go through what we're going through right now. Just looking at Ayah alone makes my heart feel discontent. Anyway, happy birthday Ayah! I promise in the future to come, you wouldn't have to worry about anything, insyaAllah. I'll get my diploma and continue with my degree and change our world upside down. O

Last week I had the pleasure of attending an event organised by my seniors and it was surprisingly well-received! Opening speech by our Rektor. Surprised that he was there considering how tight his schedule is. I've always seen these on tv and never in real life until that day. Pretttyyy! And then they were released into the air. MCs for the night. The crowd. Students of Art & Design. They are called Aura Band btw. Performance by Accountancy students haha. KOMED (a club under Masscomm) did this creative thing that I can't even explain. A surprised performance by one of my former lecturers, Miss Wan. She taught me Public Speaking during the first semester. And that was the end of it. Basically all students from different courses were gathered to commemorate "30 years of Unity" since our campus was founded and it was nice to see how people were supportive about it. On a different note, notice that I've stopped posting

My one and only class got cancelled today. Spent the day folding my clothes, and completing my assignments that had to be submitted today.

Remember I said I met Wani a few days ago? I promised that I would upload the rest of the photos in a separate post so here it is. River cruise. Pretty stores somewhere at Jonker Walk. Street musicians! They were really good. We may or may have not seen Dynaz Mokhtar wandering in the streets of Melaka! Stalked her but lost her towards the end of the road. Some pretty alley we found while strolling. Stray kittens in the alley. 

Went for a brisk walk around my campus with my roommate and took this photo just in time before it hid behind the clouds. Just my luck hehe. 

Met Wani today, of whom we haven't met since late June last year, which was the first month of our second semester. She left UiTM for SPA in nursing and when she announced us the news we thought she was lying, considering she's the playful one among us but turned out it was true. Shed a few tears of course because we were so close since the first semester and knowing that she's gonna leave for good left a huge impact on us.  But fortunately today, we reunited back with her again, although it was just for a brief moment but it's fine as long as we get to meet her again. Not sure when's the next time but hopefully soon enough. We love you, Wani <3 p=""> Also we had an impromptu photoshoot today but those photos will be uploaded soon enough because I made a promise to Wani that I would let her photo be included in my 365 project :)
