Photo Adventure: Bird Park.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to help my friend, Najwa, with her assignment on photography. She had to take photos of anything using a few techniques such as slow shutter, panning, etc and tbqh, those techniques aren't my level of expertise but with my little know-hows in photography, I helped her as much as I could. Besides, she had already learned in her class beforehand so the difficulty was reduced to a minimum. We decided to go to Bird Park since in our circumstances, it's probably as far as we could go and there aren't many picturesque places around KL nor Shah Alam. The last time I went there was early of 2010 and it was actually the time when I had first gotten my Ronnie aka D90 so it wasn't actually a foreign place for me haha. Spotted a Korean family! Haha This was really dreamy! For a moment there I thought I was in a foreign country. Najwa beautifying the 'foreign' place a lil more haha. And then we relucta

Trip: Pulau Pinang

Sorry for the long hiatus! My last paper (which was Sociology) ended yesterday and this basically means that I'm on my sem break and I'm finally done with my first year of diploma. Hurrah! I guess it's time to update on things that I've been wanting to share about, ie: Penang trip! I went to Penang with my whole family, including my brother and his wife and their new-born child, Hana, for about three days. We went there about a week before Ramadan month (fasting month!) started so that we could indulge ourselves with Penang's delicacies hehe :) Warning: Food photos ahead. It is advised to not view the photos if you're hungry. Ais Tingkap (Iced Window?). First time trying it and I didn't like it that much. Cendol on a hot day. Yums! Cucur udang. Busy road in Penang. Hana's second time in Penang. The first time was when she was still in her mom's tummy ;) The very famous nasi kandar in Penang, Line Clear. I giggled when my

Last Monday, Komed organized an event called "Feskom Raya" where lecturers and students of faculty of Communication and Media Studies gathered at Padang Kawad and donned traditionally and modernly in their baju melayu, baju kurung, baju kebaya, and the alike. Yes, I type like a true journalist now, thanks to the vast amount of writing assignments I had to do in my writing class. Lol. Anyway I personally think it was just a so-so event. The food was halfway gone by the time we arrived and 95% of the time, we spent taking countless of photos. Photos below are a few of my personal favourites that I took during the day. Yes, attendance was taken as well. "Seriously Stop" is an event by Semester 5 students and they were promoting it during Feskom. Signed the banner to show our support to the semester 5 students' events. Amy (not me) and Cik Ten. Ira and Ika posed prettily for the camera(s) Intan is one of the most stylish person I've ev

These were taken way before my second semester started but because of timing issues, I only got to upload them now. Enjoy~ Oh since it's the Holy month of Ramadhan, to those who are fasting, I suggest you to view the photos below right after iftar :-) I do not want my Muslim readers to die of extreme starvation :-P I'm honestly amazed by the technology advancement we have in the world these days! Ordering your food using iPads?! How cool is that?! Hana, my niece, was amazed too! Just look at her excitement.
