The Moon that Embraces the Sun



The title has nothing to do with this post so ignore it lol. Unless you're a Korean drama lover, then I would suggest you to watch this historical drama (The Moon that Embraces the Sun) starring Kim Soo Hyun (one of my favourite actors!), and Han Ga In.

Hello there, it has been a while since I last posted pictures on my blog and I kinda feel bad about it because I sort of promised myself to take more pictures this year (and to improve my photography skills as well) but as a result, I couldn't keep the promise. What a let down! Not enough with that, I even thought of upgrading my camera. Tsk tsk. However, I am considering on buying a new lens or a speedlite because I feel kinda inspired at the moment.

Also, I would like to improve on my food photography skills because I can never seem to find a right angle whenever I decide to take pictures of it. You could say that food photography is one of my biggest enemies at the moment. Challenging, indeed!

By the way, picture above was taken last week if I'm not mistaken. Since I don't have an upgraded version of Adobe Photoshop nor an Adobe Lightroom on my laptop, I post-processed it on Adobe Photoshop CS1 instead /sobs. But even with a limited editing I guess it's feasible enough because all you need is creativity.

I had always wondered if there will ever come a time for me to actually step out of tanah airku for as long as I still breathe. Though I was told that I had been to Singapore before but apparently I was still a baby then - one that I had no clear, and vivid memory of. Curi tulang a bit from work to write this. LOL jk. Just got a bit (a handful actually) of time to spare and I just have to HAVE to document this in the form of writing (or in this case, blogpost). So last week after work, I went out to have a nice dinner in Subang with my family sans Ayah. As we had parked our car, I was carrying my lil’ niece, Hana (Ehem, I don’t usually carry her because my goodness is she heavy but that night was an exception hehe just needed to get the bond and chemistry going) and in the distance, I saw the LRT train was passing by and we all know how kids are very intrigued about all these weird-looking, moving things, therefore I happily pointed the train to show it to Hana. Week 1 of 52

So I've decided to start this 52 weeks project in which I would upload a picture every week for the whole year starting today :-) I did this project two years back on flickr ( click here ) but I stopped because of some reason and this time, I'm gonna do this project on Blogspot instead because I don't get that much recognition on flickr :( Anyway, I hope this time I wouldn't give up despite being busy with work.
