Pre-convo photoshoot: Sabrina x Laila



Best friend, Sabrina, asked me a favour if I could do a pre-convo photoshoot of her and Laila and of course I was more than glad to do it for them. And since it was my first time shooting a pre-convo shoot, I was super ecstatic for it because not only it allows me to experiment and sharpen my portraiture skills, but it could also kill my boredom (yes, guys, still unemployed haha). The day before the photoshoot, I did my own research on pre-convo shoots just to get some inspirations. Now that is pure excitement ok hehe.

I'm not particularly satisfied with the outcome, though, because 1) we had no props - no balloons, no pretty flowers, or whatsoever - so most of the photos turn out dull, 2) the weather was slightly gloomy it kinda gives off this blue-ish ala twilight-vibes yknow hahahaha, and 3) I know I could've done so much better (ah being a perfectionist sucks), but for a first-timer, I guess it was a-okay? And besides, I'm still basically a learner and there is always room for improvements, so I'm not gonna get discouraged by it *pats self* *flexes muscles* hehe.

I had always wondered if there will ever come a time for me to actually step out of tanah airku for as long as I still breathe. Sian Acu

Curi tulang a bit from work to write this. LOL jk. Just got a bit (a handful actually) of time to spare and I just have to HAVE to document this in the form of writing (or in this case, blogpost). So last week after work, I went out to have a nice dinner in Subang with my family sans Ayah. As we had parked our car, I was carrying my lil’ niece, Hana (Ehem, I don’t usually carry her because my goodness is she heavy but that night was an exception hehe just needed to get the bond and chemistry going) and in the distance, I saw the LRT train was passing by and we all know how kids are very intrigued about all these weird-looking, moving things, therefore I happily pointed the train to show it to Hana. Week 1 of 52

So I've decided to start this 52 weeks project in which I would upload a picture every week for the whole year starting today :-) I did this project two years back on flickr ( click here ) but I stopped because of some reason and this time, I'm gonna do this project on Blogspot instead because I don't get that much recognition on flickr :( Anyway, I hope this time I wouldn't give up despite being busy with work.
